Sami Medicals
T.A.S Snuff Shop was founded in 1960 as a family business by Mr. V. Dhanasekaran, the elder son of Mr. TKT. Vadivelmurugan. The business later expanded with the involvement of Mr. V. Dhanasekaran’s brother, Mr. V. Palanisamy.
Our company Sami Medicals officially began its operations on 21st June 1990, under the leadership of Mr. V. Palanisamy and his three associates, representing the T.A.S Podikadai legacy. On 3rd August 1995, Mr. V. Dhanasekaran’s son, Mr. D. Sankaranarayanan, joined as the company’s pharmacist and administrator, further strengthening the family’s commitment to excellence.
In 2006, Sami Medicals transitioned from a partnership of friends to a fully family-owned enterprise under the stewardship of Mr. TKT. Vadivel Murugan. This change marked a significant milestone in the company’s journey.
In 2010, the next generation of leadership was introduced when Mr. V. Palanichamy’s son, Mr. P. Vadivelmurugan, joined the organization.
Sami Medicals continued its expansion by inaugurating a second branch on 9th March 2017 at the SKM Building, Sekalai Road. Further diversifying its operations, the company launched its Warehouse and Pharmaceutical Wholesale business on the first floor of the SKM Building, Sekalai Road, on 11th February 2019.
On 25th May 2023, Sami Medicals celebrated another milestone with the opening of its third branch at KRN Complex, near the New Bus Stand, reflecting the company’s ongoing growth and dedication to serving the community.
Today, T.A.S Podi Shop and Sami Medicals stand as a testament to family values, innovation, and a relentless commitment to providing quality pharmaceutical services.
